Babcock Ranch residents were treated to an incredible sight in the sky as a rocket launch created a stunning, jellyfish-shaped cloud visible from the community.
Resident Chris Price captured the breathtaking display from Townwalk in Babcock Ranch and shared his excitement with Babcock News.
“It was one of the best launches I’ve seen from our location. The jellyfish cloud was amazing!!” Price told Babcock News.
The glowing formation, often called a space jellyfish, can occur when sunlight illuminates a rocket’s exhaust plume high in the atmosphere while the sky below remains dark.
