A Babcock Ranch family is planning to turn the sale of their home into an opportunity to give back to organizations serving the Babcock Ranch community.
Armen Kabodian has reached out to Babcock News for help identifying nonprofit organizations serving the Babcock Ranch area. The family plans to donate $10,000 from the proceeds of the home sale to 11 nonprofit organizations serving the Babcock Ranch area — 10 will receive $500 each, and one will receive $5,000.

The family’s home is located in Edgewater Shores at 16005 Shoreline Dr, Babcock Ranch, FL 33982, and the family is planning to move to Regency in Babcock Ranch.
Kabodian told Babcock News, “We built a home near the Sanibel Causeway six months before Hurricane Ian. It was severely damaged, so we had it rebuilt, sold it, moved to Babcock Ranch, and love The Ranch so much, we are going to build again, a larger home to accommodate our growing family.”
Babcock News is asking the community to help identify nonprofit organizations that serve the Babcock Ranch area and could be considered by the family.
If you know of a nonprofit organization serving Babcock Ranch, tell us about them in the comments and what they do for the community.
The family that purchases the Edgewater Shores home will make the final decision regarding which organization receives the $5,000 donation.
