After six years of planning, perseverance, and preparation, The Community Church (TCC) is preparing to celebrate a major milestone as it opens its new church home at 17815 Commons Drive in Babcock Ranch.
Pastor Matt Shapton told Babcock News that the congregation is excited to welcome the community to its first worship services at the new location this Sunday, October 25.
According to Shapton, the church has spent six years working toward establishing what it describes as Babcock Ranch’s first house of worship, overcoming numerous challenges along the way.
This week, a group of volunteers gathered at the new TCC Fellowship House to assemble 332 chairs for the main worship space, helping prepare the building for its opening weekend.
Saturday, October 24 – Community Celebration
The church will host a celebration of gratitude beginning at 11 a.m. in the Field House parking lot. Participants will then make their way to the new church property for a building dedication ceremony and lunch.
The community is invited to attend.
Sunday, October 25 – First Worship Services
The Community Church will hold its first Sunday worship services at the new location at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., followed by lunch.
The opening represents a significant milestone for the congregation and the continued development of Babcock Ranch, providing a permanent gathering place for worship and fellowship.
After six years of preparation, The Community Church is ready to welcome residents into its new home.
